Conductor Marjan Grdadolnik has graduated from clarinet and conducting at the Academy of Music in Ljubljana. For his conducting achievements, he was presented him with the Students’ Prešeren’s Prize. In his hometown of Logatec, he has founded and leads the Cantabile Symphony Orchestra and the Adoramus Mixed Choir. At the Logatec Music School, he teaches clarinet and chamber performance. He is also active as a composer and is an organist at the homely parish of St. Nicholas. Gostoval je v Rimu, Bukarešti, Pragi, Barceloni, Dunaju, Zurichu itd. He has toured to Rome, Bucarest, Prague, Barcelona, Vienna, Zürich etc. In the past, he has successfuly collaborated with the National RTV Slovenia Symphony Orchestra, Slovenian Armed Forces Wind Band, Swiss Orchestra Giovane, European Doctors Orchestra EDO, Budapest Philharmonic and many others. He is the recipient of Gerbič’s Award, awarded by Slovenian Music Schools Association for exceptional achievements in the field of music edication.
